      Ideas how to diagnose this error??? I don't have enough to go on.

      There were error(s) loading the rules: pfctl: DIOCXCOMMIT: Invalid argument - The line in question reads [0]: @ 2024-02-29 10:52:11

      Here's the full error in system.log (other than the time stamp and server name):

      php[453]: rc.bootup: New alert found: There were error(s) loading the rules: pfctl: DIOCXCOMMIT: Invalid argument - The line in question reads [0]:

        What pfSense version are you seeing that in?

        That can be a number of things. One of them was this: https://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/13408
        That is now fixed though.

          @stephenw10 THANKS. Yep, on 2.6.* ... made me nervous about doing the upgrade... didn't want invalid rules causing trouble!
