      I added a third network card to my pfsense but it is not detecting it. it is listed with the command pciconf -l -v

        @thiagopinski27 What model router? What model NIC?

        Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
        When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to reboot, or more depending on packages, and device or disk speed.

          Where are you expecting to see it? If it shows in pciconf as a valid interface (a driver has attached to it) it should be assignable in Interfaces > Assign.

              That looks like a Realtek 1G NIC though so I'd expect it to be supported by default.
