I set up HA as per the instruction on netgate doc https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/recipes/high-availability.html

Everything appears to be working. Immediately after I configured everything the LAN dhcp server on the primary node is disabled and enabled on the secondary node. I manually enabled the dhcp server on the primary. The question is should I disable the dhcp server on the secondary? If it is disabled, if the primary is up, would dhcp server on the secondary node enabled by itself? Or should both of them be enabled. Thanks.

p/s I did set up the dhcp failover.

I checked the primary and secondary pfsense again last night. The dhcpd were on on both. I guess that is probably the intended behaviour. I see the failover dhcpd in the dhcp status page. I think I am all good. Thanks.
