Traffic shaper is "working" but not working.
-
i used the wizard to setup up shaping for port 80 traffic, it puts p2p traffic in the lowest queue and classifies any other traffic as p2p. (i have a ton of rules, keepin it simple). so when i visit my web server at home, my graphs show that all of the sudden, tons of traffic stops flowing through my pipe, but the web traffic doesnt seem to be fast, wait 5-10 minutes, the traffic is back up where it belongs(typical bit torrent speed) i understand why the traffic drops off, but i dont understand why the web server cant get me pages any quicker. it seems that way for every service that i have plugged in the high queue. it also drops a bunch of download traffic when upload traffic is what is causing the slowdown. ideas on what to try?

I have the same problem. I used the Traffic Shaping wizard. (WEB, P2P….). However the ACK, Default and the P2P queues are working, but the oters don't. I made some modification, but the result is same.
I have 2 interface, WLAN, and LAN. WLAN bridged with LAN. -
reset states after applying a new filterruleset. connections are assigned to queues on establishing the connection. old connections will remain in the queue it was started unless you reset states.
