I have two Pfsense in HA mode working. So far, all ok.

I want to introduce TVs with Multicast streaming. IGMP Proxy is working well to stream from IPTV's provider address to our vlan where the TVs are.

Unforunately I can enable the IGMP Proxy on one Pfsense router only. If both are active the is a udp storm from two side which destroys the result at reiceiver.
Therefore I have to disable the service of the backup Pfsense manually. There is no CARP option like in packages "PIMD" or "UDP broadcast relay". With these two last mentioned packages I can't get multicast streaming on my TV vlan either.

I have played with different settings like using the VIP address in IGMP proxy (upstream and/or downstream) or outbound NAT to WAN VIP etc. No change. IGMP proxy uses the interface address always.

Is it possible to add the CARP option on IGMP Proxy GUI. If the selected CARP interface will change to master then the IGMP Proxy service must start other stop it.

Or is there another solution? Thank you for your help.
