Please explain in settings have the option as hn ALTQ support. Do not use ALTQ traffic shaping instead use Limiters. I keep option Hardware Checksum Offloading ON , the rest is OFF. Can me safely to get OFF this option? My NIC's are Intel i-226v. pfSense use dedicated hardware not a virtual machine. Generally, inside can read: The ALTQ support disables the multiqueue API and may reduce the system capability to handle traffic. So, like me understanding to keep OFF should have some performance bonus?

pfSense plus 24.11 on Topton mini PC
      CPU: Intel N100
      NIC: Intel i-226v 4 pcs
      RAM : 16 GB DDR5
      Disk: 128 GB NVMe

@Antibiotic it should only be relevant for hyper-V: https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/config/advanced-networking.html#hn-altq-support
“Checking this option will enable support for ALTQ traffic shaping on hn(4) network interfaces in Hyper-V.”

Pre-2.7.2/23.09: Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to restart, or more depending on packages and device speed.

@SteveITS Ok, like understood in my case doesn't matter this. Can you suggest may be some System tunables for Intel NIC;s and Intel N100 chip or some links to read? Is it tunables for FreeBSD will work or could do even worse?

Tunables for FreeBSD will generally apply in pfSense but may not improve performance. On the page the default values should be fine for igc.
