I have a Promox VE, where I installed the pfSense to link my physical network to a virtual network (in PVE). I religiously followed this official tutorial.

But for some reasons, it seems pfSense drops packets from 5 up to 20 minutes (not routing anything, I got a Bad Gateway error in Firefox, but the Traefik logs says "connection reset by peer"). I know the firewall rules are correct because they don't change when everything works.

On the PVE summary, I can see almost, either network input or output pass. It stops randomly.

Here, at 01:07, no more traffic whilst, I'm refreshing by URL (for Paperless, Nextcloud, whatever, it doesn't matter). Ignore the part before 00:56:00, I wasn't trying to query anything.

      So, I'm sure it's not:

      • My VM firewall, never changes, and works when pfSense wants to,
      • My pfSense firewall rules, works when pfSense wants to.

I tried to read logs given by pfSense but I found nothing suspicious.

If someone could give me directions to try to find the root of the problem, I'm in!

      Thanks!
