I'm new to the Netgate community, so apologies if this is easily found elsewhere.

I recently purchased the Netgate 1537 Base along with the CPIC-8955 accelerator card. The accelerator card didn't come pre-installed or any instructions. I can't seem to find documentation anywhere on how I should 1) open up the 1537 and 2) how to go about installing the CPI-8955.

If anyone could point me towards documentation on both of these I would be very grateful.

Hey @stephenw10! Yeah, I bought it through Netgate on 3/29 (Order #SO24-116109). Is there a flag I missed or something to have it pre-installed?

I'm trying to take the screws off to get access to the inside, but these things are on so tight I'm afraid of stripping them. Can someone send me some documentation about how to open this? I don't want to strip these screws and then be stuck with a $2500 firewall I can't open and a $500 crypto chip I can't install.

I'm honestly perplexed that this didn't ship with the chip already installed.

To be clear you mean the screws that hold the top on?
