I configured 9600 baud in my terminal proggie. As described in the doc's pfsense will set the COM1 speed also to 9600 baud. BIOS is configured to 9600 baud (thats why i can read the BIOS Messages).

But why there are only #################### Messages after booting. I cant read anything (only char=#) … and so i can't configure my LAN IP ...

NanoBSD-based images like the ones for 1.2.3-RC3 do not currently work on WRAP.

You can get it to boot by setting the partition to nopacket (search the forum for details) but upgrades will not work.

It is due to how the BIOS on WRAP handles the boot process.

  • Thx for your reply. No matter what i'm searching (e.g partition … packet ... etc.) i can't find it inside the forum. Maybe i'm blind, but can you give me a hint, please?

Weird. It didn't show up for me on a forum search either, but it did on Google:
