Certain characters are being improperly displayed in Google Chrome yet properly displayed in Microsoft Edge. Which started happening a couple of months ago. I reinstalled Chrome and powered down. This reinstallation did not fix it. I am on the latest version of pfSense, Chrome and Edge. Any suggesstions.

    Thanks

Have you tried Firefox, Safari and others to rule out Chrome? That appears not a pfSense issue...

Looks like it's failing to pull in font-awesome for some reason. Has to be something blocking in in Chrome. A browser plugin perhaps.

@munson I am not a normal chrome user, but just fired it up and accessed pfsense and looks fine here

I also use Chrome regularly and experience zero problems with pfSense icons. Check for blocking by a browser plugin. I bet that's the cause of your issue. It's not pfSense.

Thanks for your responses and suggestions. The problem was solved by thoroughly removing Chrome and ALL its configuration data. I then reinstall Chrome and all is back to normal.
