pfSense feature request. DHCP Leases: filter by interface.
-
I have several VLANs configured. It would be very helpful if when looking at the DHCP leases, I could filter the list based on which interface the IP Address is using.
Right now, I type the first couple of Octets in the search field, change the search type to IP Address and press search. But it would be so much more convenient if I could pick the interface from a drop down list.

@doni49 the good news is, this is already a request…

@SteveITS Interesting -- I poked around in this forum looking for a place to post feature requests. When I didn't find a place, I thought I'd put it in General Discussion.
I don't see a way to offer comments at the links you provided. But in the first link, the issues making this feature difficult were listed.
I have what I believe would a viable solution.
Allow the user to create saved filters. The user could filter for specific things. In my use case, I might filter for IP Addresses 10.10.0.<asterisk>. Then I could save that as VLAN100. I'd have another for IP Addresses 10.20.0.<asterisk> and save that as VLAN20.
Someone might make a filter called Shelly Devices and it would search for devices with Shelly in the hostname.
Once I've set up the saved filters, I could just pick one from a drop-down list and the lease list would update based on the filter.

You have to create an account and sign in, then there's a weirdly named Edit button to post a note.
All feature requests/bug reports are in the redmine site.

@SteveITS I spent about 20 min on the Redmine site looking for a way to register to make comments before posting my reply.
I'll look again tomorrow. I'm headed to bed.

@doni49 Very top right:

I'll have to chalk it up to me being super tired yesterday. I honestly did not see that anywhere -- but I've registered now and submitted my comment.
