23.09.1 to 24.03 - Stalls at reboot on aesni8

Upgtrading pfSense Plus from 23.09.1. Not sure why this would fail here. Any ideas? After timing out it reverts back to the alst ZFS snap of 23.09.1. Running on an Intel i7. I have no clue what to check for.

NVM. I must have been a little impatient, as after waiting almost ten minutes this time, it finally continued on it's way. However it did boot back into the 23.09..1 snap, I just rebooted to the 24.03 envirnment, and it came right up. That was new.

That's what you see on the video console when the serial console is set as primary. Everything after mounting root until the console menu comes up is shown on the primary console only. Except for a few things like new device detection and link state changes, hence you see the aesni0 device.
It was probably waiting for some input on the serial console but would have eventually rolled back the BE snap after not verifying the boot.Steve
