Morning. I have a ZFS install running on a 64GB industrial SSD. I have an identical SSD I'd like to add for full redundancy. Been looking around for instructions short of crush/rebuild. I like my pfSense+ version and wouldn't choose to lose it. Seems that

      zpool attach pfSense ada0 ada1

is what I want, but zpool status shows

       NAME STATE READ WRITE CKSUM
              pfSense ONLINE 0 0 0
                ada0p3 ONLINE 0 0 0

and that seems to show the pool only running on p3, so it looks to me like I'd lose the boot, etc.. Anyway I can do this? Thanks for reading and any replies. ๐Ÿ‘‹

Reinstalling to both drives as a mirror would be the easiest by far. The NDI shouldn't change so you would still have access to the Plus repos. Just use the Net Installer then restore the config.

@stephenw10 Thanks, Stephen. I thought I would need a new license for reinstall, even on same hardware. So that ID calculation is hardware dependent (all my NICs, etc. will stay same). Thanks again! I'll give it a shot. Can always fallback on my 2.3.5 box (or even my 1.2.3...)!

            32bit. Noooo! ๐Ÿ˜จ ๐Ÿ˜‰

But, yes, the NDI is based on hardware so reinstallng there should be no problem.
