Hi, I do not understand why my upload speed is too low , when use any traffic shaping. I have 1gb down/1 gb up.During testing download speed fine but upload about only 250mb. Can someone give me a tip, what is going on? For this moment testing HFSC shaper with standard wizard. I have setup wan and 3 lans. Also use OPenVPN with DCO UDP as client but only for one interface. Testing speed not on VPN but simple LAN whom is going to WAN. Also have static route on all interfaces and disable all offloads.

        1. From docs: If all traffic inside the VPN must be prioritized by the firewall, then it is enough to consider only the VPN traffic itself directly on WAN, rather than attempting to queue traffic on the VPN separately. In these cases, use a floating rule on WAN to match the VPN traffic itself

What kind of this rule, should create on WAN interface or LAN interface?

@Antibiotic post your traffic shaper settings?

Also, see thread https://forum.netgate.com/topic/182998/the-traffic-download-limit-only-applies-half-of-what-i-give-it-why/, which may or may not help.

I don't use a VPN but there are issues discussed here:
                https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/trafficshaper/vpns.html

Pre-2.7.2/23.09: Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to restart, or more depending on packages and device speed.
