      Hello guys,

Does anyone know what could be the reason that the status of my second WAN is unknown? Thanks in advance!

What does the Gateway log page tells you ?

        See also Status > Interfaces

Normally that means dpinger is not running on that interface. So it could be physically down for example.

The gateway is not responding to ARP:
              https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/troubleshooting/gateway-errors.html#sendto-error-64

Maybe the NIC is connected to the wrong link.

Did you have a look at the lights (the plug) of the interface, any activity ?

Tell us more about this WAN2_DHCP.
It could be a /dev/null after all.

@stephenw10 @Gertjan, everything seems to be working properly on a physical level

The most end is WAN, the one in the middle is WAN2 and this end is LAN (next to it are the other free ports)

Try releasing/renewing the DHCP lease. Does it come back up after that?

                        In Status > Interfaces.

If that doesn't work try resaving the WAN2 config.

Does WAN2 actually have a DHCP lease? Is the WAN2 gateway shown in Diag > ARP?

It could just be an upstream issue at the ISP.
