Weird google issue
-
So I was reading my e-mail on my phone (5G connection, permanently fed through a Wireguard VPN to my home) and all of a sudden I couldn't open an attachment, it did work when I disabled the VPN.
My first thought was that the VPN/VM (which runs pfSense) had an issue, or the hardware had shit itself (used to do that a lot in the past, but it's rock stable nowadays).
The TV also wouldn't start youtube anymore (nVidia shield 2019).I tried rebooting pfSense, the VM and the hardware running it. Disabled a UDP block on ports 443 and 80 (QUIC was messing with pfSense when I installed it the first time). Rebooted the clients (phone, shield) and removed the power from the shield.
No google websites/services run behind the VPN or on the nVidia shield (sans the google play store on the Shield), other websites and apps have no issues. The odd part is, when running over WiFi, the phone and a Ipad work like a charm, nothing wrong, the shield running on a rj45 however, no dice.
PC's with a wired connection also have no problems. For the Shield I also tried disabling IPV6, but that did nothing.
Doing a DNS lookup shows no issues on IPV4 or IPV6 on google.compfSense is 2.7.2
pfBlockerNG 3.2.0_8 is running
Wireguard is 0.2.1I'm kind of clueless as to what else I can try :/

Since I can't edit my post anymore.
The problem fixed itself after about 3 hours?
How is that a thing?Edit"2".
