Can I configure 2 ports on a switch to act like a simple ethernet coupler (isolated from all other ports)?

Here's the situation: I have a port on my router configured for a dedicated management interface. If I totally bork my router configuration, I can jack straight into igb4 and have access to the web GUI. (I'm just learning so this has already happened multiple times!)
But the port is on the back of the router which is in a rack so it's not easy to get at. Right now I have a short cable plugged into that port with a white ethernet coupler on the other end. Written on the coupler is "DIRECT MGMT". This is low tech but it works - but it looks kinda crappy just dangling there.
If possible, I'd like to configure it so that the cable from the (direct mgmt) port on the router goes to port 5 on my switch and when I connect my laptop to port 6 on my switch, it behaves just like (my current low-tech solution) an ethernet coupler.
Port 6 on the switch shouldn't be able to talk to any other port or VLAN and no other port or VLAN should be able to talk to port 5 on the switch.
I contacted TP-Link and their support department told me this cannot be done. I find that hard to believe. I think he probably meant "this can't be done in the switch configuration". This can be done, right? If so, how, exactly?

@ErniePantuso Can the switch do vlans? If so, just create a clan on the switch with just those 2 ports using it.
