trouble adding LAN2 & LAN3 interfaces (assignments)

new user to PFsense. I have a Netgate 2100 Max. after successful setup of WAN and LAN1, I can use my PC on LAN1 and connect to Internet.
I am now trying to add LAN2, and use a separate IP space to keep the two LANs from seeing each other. When trying to configure, I click on Interfaces/Assignments. I see WAN and LAN1, but nothing else. This screen does not have "Available Network Posts" list. How can I add/enable a port I can't see?

@Greg2100 the 2100 has switch ports. If you want to setup these interfaces as different networks you will have to configure the switch.

For people inexperienced with managed switches, then yeah there is a bit of a learning curve.
