Remove old gateways from Status -> Monitoring?
-
Is there any way to remove old, deleted gateways from the Status > Monitoring page? Having old gateways in there sometimes really throws a wrench in investigations for a while.

@PraeceCharles
You have to remove the corresponding rrd file (*-quality.rrd).
It's stored in /var/db/rrd. -
If they are not being used by existing routes you can remove them from System > Routing > Gateways.
You can also just disable monitoring on those gateways to prevent them generating data.
Yes, to remove them from quality graphs remove the file or reset the RRD data entirely.

Hello, I have same problem. The gateways do not exist under Gateways, but are presented in monitoring. The fun is that sometimes even those doesnt exist, they show some data. I just reseted monitoring and at the evening will try to reboot device if it will disapier or not. Is there any other way how to remove old gateways (after import) ?.

If you reset the RRD data and restarted the service is should only add back gateways it has current data for.

@stephenw10 how to restart the service please?
-
Set 'Disable Graphing' in the advanced settings then enable it again.
Did the RRD data appear to actually reset? -
@stephenw10 thanks, that worked!
