My Dynamaic DNS client with GoDaddy recently stopped accepting new entries. Old entries are still showing green and proper cached IP but any new entry is showing a red X and cachced ip of 0.0.0.0

I even created a new GoDaddy API key to ensure it wasnt a credential issue and a new host entry but it is failing

      Logs show:

      Jun 5 09:47:04 php-fpm 87188 /services_dyndns_edit.php: Configuration Change: <removed user name>@<removed IP address> (Local Database): Dynamic DNS client configured.
      Jun 5 09:47:06 php-fpm 87188 /services_dyndns_edit.php: phpDynDNS (<NEW HOST NAME>): (Error) Authenticated user is not allowed access.

Not sure where else to look to troublshoot this issue?

Interesting. Thanks for the guidance to that string. Seems to be lots of chatter about it. Weird that they allow you access create API keys (even when you have less than 10 domains). I have emailed API support and will see what comes back. Very disappointing if this is a reality

Everything I could find says it is the new reality. My GoDaddy dynamic DNS stopped working as well.

Spent a few minutes yesterday transferring my domain registration to Cloudfare. Moved my DNS over there first (that is a required first step). When that was working and replicated I initiated a transfer of my domain from GoDaddy to Cloudfare. Dynamic updates are working again and the annual domain renewal cost is less than half of what GoDaddy was charging me!

Seems like a really dumb decision on the part of GoDaddy.

And no information, like a mail, warning about this ?

Nope. Nothing that I ever saw. Some searching around on Google will find a lot of folks complaining about the exact same issue. They changed their service without notice apparently. Here is a Reddit thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/selfhosted/comments/1cnipp3/warning_godaddy_silently_cut_access_to_their_dns/.
