I have an optional network interface which I will be adding as a second WAN connection. How do I add the default WAN firewall rules which block bogus or private network addresses that were created on WAN for the wizard for my second WAN interface?

You can't (yet, that's been added in 2.0) short of maintaining aliases yourself.
