      I'm using the version 2.7.2, and in the settings of the DNS Resolver I'm missing the following settings:

      • DHCP Registration
      • Static DHCP

      Are those settings on by default?

        @littlebi

        The Resolver handles ... DNS, not DHCP.

        Because you've chosen to use the, for the moment, feature limited KEA DHCP server.
        You've missed : Netgate Adds Kea DHCP to pfSense Plus Software Version 23.09

        So, go to :

        and do not select "KEA", but the good old "ISC" and suddenly your issue is solved ;)

        edit :

        And to short-circuit the next question :

        What ever happens, do not activate the DHCP Registration check box.

        it's ok to use "Static DHCP".

        There are literally a thousand of forum post that explain why.

        Edit : and where are the logs ??

            @littlebi

            Again : select "ISC" as your DHCP server, as this is the one that makes the manual valid again.
            Read the blog post, and you'll understand.
