    Per OpenWRT users

“GitHub being Microsoft-owned, is not the ideal great place for community projects such as OpenWRT.

We all know about Microsoft's historically combative stance against FOSS projects, and recently Github has been randomly shadow-banning accounts in other communities that I'm a member of.”

They want to move away from GitHub,

I am stating to wonder if the reason some pfSense packages no longer have support could be users might not be getting the information into GitHub anymore….

There might be some amazing code sitting out there and it’s shadow banned so no one can see it at all for package fixes.
