Hello. I have been having issues trying to access the web GUI when installing pfSense for the first time on version 2.7.2. I am able to connect and ping my laptop on the LAN but no luck in my browser. Any suggestions? Thanks.

        Have you changed the port?

@CoolBuster999 what’s the IP for the firewall? It should be to start out 192.168.1.1

@JonathanLee WAN IP is 192.168.1.70. It is plugged into my existing router. LAN gateway is 10.10.10.1 with DHCP from 10.10.10.2 - 10.10.10.250. I was previously having issues trying to ping using 192.168.1.X on the LAN.

With a LAN on default 192.168.1.1/24 and WAN getting a 192.168.1.0/24 address from an upstream router, this is normal and by design.
A router has to have unique networks on every interface, otherwise it can't route. This issue could be solved by : remove pfSense, put a switch in place and done ^^

Btw : Keep in mind that the pfSense package pfBlockerng will define a default VIP : 10.10.10.1. So the day you install that package, remembrer to change that IP to something else. If not .... problems again.

Because your original network, upstream router, used already 192.168.1.0/24, it's - my suggestion - way easier to change your upstream to, for example, 192.168.10.1/24 - and leave all network settings on pfSense to default : your LAN will be 192.168.1.0/24 with pfSense using 192.168.1.1 by default.

No "help me" PM's please. Use the forum, the community will thank you.
Edit : and where are the logs ??

Mmm, I would argue changing the pfSense LAN subnet is probably easier on a fresh install with nothing using it yet. Additionally changing that to some other subnet is a good idea anyway since it avoids other possible conflicts in the future. With site to site VPNs for example.
