My 1100 has lost two of its four rubber feet, and the other two keep leaping off the 1100 when it goes in my backpack. Are these feet needed for cooling or anything important? Or are they just decoration?

My 1100 gets moved on a regular basis, hence the trips in my backpack.

They are not required but they certainly help stop the 1100 sliding around and do obviously improve cooling. The ones I have are stood on one side to save desk space which changes that obviously.

You can use some adhesive feet in place of them.
