      Dear pfSense Gurus!

      How this Maximum States and Maximum Table Entries values correspond / depend to total amount of available for FreeBSD system memory ?

      Please point me on a sources where described in details how important for pfSense+ network operations resources like

      • NICs controllers (CPU, memory on controllers, number of Eth ports on each controller and RAM buffers);

      • whole appliance/server memory amount and it's spreading across CPU in multi-CPU systems;

      • main appliance CPU;
        and
        memory/network/cpu core settings in FreeBSD's ;

      influence on pfSense speed, throughput and stability of operation.

      Common words are less interesting than numbers, of course :)

      Thank You!
