Static ARP and no subnet …



  • When I turn on the Static ARP in DHCP Server option I get "no subnet" in syslogd on all hosts when they try renewe IP adress.
    I've RC2e.

  • Yes, every host has an entry in dhcp server
    everything is ok until I turn on Static ARP, but I think that they works ok.

    dhcpd: lease 10.1.1.22: no subnet
    dhcpd: lease 10.1.1.42: no subnet.

    also I have a problem with pftpx and remote syslogd, this info is still showing on syslogd

  • After turning on static arp support, please run the following:

    arp -an

    and show the entries that should be static.
