        Have you tried http://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/Setup_Squid_as_a_Transparent_Proxy ???

I mean i am using havp, and last time i used it i did not need to put a port in … but since reinstalling pfsense it won't let me save the config even when transparent is selected if i don't put a port in.

          Thanks!

This is normal behavior. Port need for listenning connections. Even if transparent mode.
