      Apologies in advance for what's likely a very basic concept.

      I saw that there's a new System Patches package (2.2.11_15) this morning and updated. There's one new patch:

      "Automatically use floating states on IPsec VTI (After applying, reload the filter or reboot.)"

      What filter should be reloaded after applying? The ipsec service?

        @terryzb I would expect, Status > Filter Reload to reload all rules.

        Pre-2.7.2/23.09: Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
        When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to restart, or more depending on packages and device speed.

            Yup it's that. It forces pfSense to rebuild the ruleset using the patched script so you get the additional rules.
