    Hang on final boot during install

      I am able to install pfSense on my VM running on linux, and when it goes to do it's final reboot, it always gets stuck at this step:

      I have tried using vtnet0, vtnet, et1000 and nothing is working. They all work to download and install pfSense, but on final boot it hangs. Any ideas what to try next? Thanks.

        @thorsHam can you ping/connect? Might be the console… https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/troubleshooting/boot-issues.html

        Pre-2.7.2/23.09: Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
        When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to restart, or more depending on packages and device speed.
