      Overnight my AT&T RG was rebooted. Not sure if there was an update but looking at this firmware version: 11.6.0h0d51

      After it came online I no longer have IPv6 prefix delegation. I check my pfSense configuration to make sure nothing changed and it's still the same script file and /60 DHCP prefix delegation setting. Been running with this configuration for over 2 years with very few issues.

      interface igc0 {
      	send ia-na 0;
      	send ia-pd 0;
      	send ia-pd 1;
      	send ia-pd 2;
      	send ia-pd 3;
      	send ia-pd 4;
      	send ia-pd 5;
      	send ia-pd 6;
      	send ia-pd 7;
      	request domain-name-servers;
      	request domain-name;
      	script "/var/etc/dhcp6c_wan_script.sh";
      };
      id-assoc na 0 { };

      id-assoc pd 0 {	};

      id-assoc pd 1 {
      	prefix-interface igc1 {
      		sla-id 0;
      		sla-len 0;
      	};
      };
      id-assoc pd 2 {
      	prefix-interface igc1.15 {
      		sla-id 0;
      		sla-len 0;
      	};
      };

      id-assoc pd 3 {
      	prefix-interface igc1.11 {
      		sla-id 0;
      		sla-len 0;
      	};
      };

      id-assoc pd 4 {
      	prefix-interface igc1.30 {
      		sla-id 0;
      		sla-len 0;
      	};
      };

      id-assoc pd 5 { };

      id-assoc pd 6 {
      	prefix-interface igc1.20 {
      		sla-id 0;
      		sla-len 0;
      	};
      };

      id-assoc pd 7 { };

      I can see the IP address coming from the RG to the pfSense router:

      But no PD configuration in the RG I usually have all 8 of my interfaces listed here:

      Tried calling AT&T and of course they stated as long as I have IPv4 connectivity there isn't anything they can do for me.

      Anyone else having issues today with AT&T and IPv6?

        @ronv42 Should have checked the Broadband status page on the RG:

          Same thing just recently happened to me with the same model RG. Did that ever resolve for you? I tried all of the same things I imagine you tried: rebooting the gateway, turning IPv6 off and back on, even having AT&T's "automated support tools" try to fix issues. Still shows unavailable for me. Only thing I haven't tried yet is a factory reset (and then re-inputting all of my settings, ugh). I did have a factory reset fix another serious problem with the same RG years ago that also seemed like it happened just after a firmware update. If I get around to trying this, and it happens to fix this, too, then that sure doesn't say much for how well the manufacturer tests the firmware updates (or perhaps AT&T themselves, assuming it's customized).

            @mgperkow Are you still having this issue? I'm only getting /64.

            Thanks

              Nope, never resolved. I simply removed all IPv6 support from my network for the time being since I have no IPv6 uplink. I guess that's how it's going to be for the foreseeable future.

                  @mgperkow AT&T replaced my RG with the latest model and the IPv6 worked. They gave me the Arris BGW210-700. Based on the phone call with their so called "Senior Support Engineer" that the NVG589 is "too old". My thoughts are that a software update on the DSLAM broke the IPv6 on the NVG589 and Arris isn't providing any newer firmware.

                    I ultimately suspected as much myself, which is also why I haven't taken any further action yet. It's now a question of when I feel like sitting on the phone with AT&T support for however long it takes to convince them to send me a new gateway and then taking the time to configure one from scratch to my liking. It seems like the final outcome is, like @ronv42 said, that the NVG589 is just far too obsolete at this point, and the solution is to replace it.
