Trouble updating from 2.6.0
-
When running the command pkg-static upgrade -fy pfSense-repoc
Result is:
pkg-static: Unable to open '/usr/local/etc/pkg/repos//pfSense.conf':No such file or directory
pkg-static: Warning: Major OS version upgrade detected. Running "pkg bootstrap -f" recommended
No active remote repositories configured.Where can I go and manually update it using the shell?

Try steps from https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/troubleshooting/upgrades.html#cli-troubleshooting (metadata, debug, manual update).
You can get to a shell prompt at the pfSense console menu, it's one of the options.
If you spend more than 30 minutes on this I would just install 2.7.2 and restore. You'll end up with ZFS as well.

Well when I go to the update > system update
I have no branches. Is there a way to manually add said branches thru the command shell?
Thx

@FireCrest_knight Does it show in Update Settings?

Is there a clone or an archive of the default pfSense-repo.conf i can download?

It looks like you have added some non-standard pkg repos or at least enabled the FreeBSD repos.
You should set the update files back to the defaults and retry.

@stephenw10 What folder are these update files located in BSD?

Check:
/usr/local/etc/pkg/repos/pfSense.conf
