WiFi user don't get IPv6, cable users do... on the same VLAN
-
I already sought assistance here to get IPv6 running on my pfsense.
I got fiber glass internet and I wanted to have a few devices with IPv6, instead of the old NAT solution on IPv4.Things worked fine for some time. Now I switched from Proxmox to Bare Metal. The config is however the exact same. The switches and APs are also exactly the same, nothing was changed in their configurations.
The only difference is I am getting no IPv6 for the users on WiFi.Here some config to add context. But I would appreciate any insight on what I should look for to find the problem. Thanks!

Are the WiFi and wired users on the same interface?

Are the WIFI-Devices Devices with Chrome OS or Android?
Your Router-Advisements are set to Managed. Chrome OS and Android supports no DHCPv6, but SLAAC only. But Managed means you offer only IPv6-Adresse via DHCPv6. So you have to enable SLAAC as well, by using Assisted instead of Managed. -

Yes. Same VLAN interface and same therefore same physical interface. -
@eagle61
Users are Windows PCs, Windows Laptops, iPhones. All that should take DHCP6. -

Yes. Same VLAN interface and same therefore same physical interface.Any chance you have a TP-Link access point or switch? Some models don't handle VLANs properly. One thing that helps solve problems is packet capture. PfSense has Packet Capture and you can run Wireshark on the computers. I had a problem with a TP-Link access point, where the devices on the guest WiFi VLAN were receiving RAs from the main LAN and they'd get the wrong IPv6 address. Replacing the AP resolved that problem.
Try running Wireshark on a Windows laptop, filtering on ICMP6. Then take a look at the RAs. You can post the capture files here.

It is all Netgate. A XS708T and a couple of WAX615.I will investigate how to make packet capture. Never done it before. It might take some time before I can post any results.
THanks.
