      Hello,

      Fresh install of pfsense 2.7.2.

Out of curiosity, why is there a log error upon restarting of:

"/rc.reload_all: The command '/usr/local/sbin/strongswanrc stop' returned exit code '1', the output was 'strongswan not running? (check /var/run/daemon-charon.pid).'

Why would this just run by default on the initial startup?

It runs to stop-start IPSec if it's enabled.
