I was advised in another thread that I could use the filer package to have my custom scripts added to backups so I installed filer but don’t see anyway to use it for anything. It’s not listed on the Services tab or on the dashboard and the only link I found for docs gives a 404 error. I don’t see any way to open a file browser for creating, editing or deleting files and no documentation for how to use it to make modifications for what is included in the pfSense backup files.

I think it's in the menu Diagnostics -> Filer.
        Can't help with usage unfortunately.

Thanks. Looks like it has the ability to create a file but no way to add a file or edit/delete a file. There is also a sync tab but the documentation appears to be missing for that. It just links to the pfsense docs so no idea what that does or how to use filer to modify the auto config backup xml.
