    one core on six core intel 12th gen cpu

      Hello,
      I fall into this strange problem: on 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-12600 (six core), pfsense show only one core when I query:
      sysctl hw.ncpu
      hw.ncpu: 1

      and on
      sysctl kern.sched.topology_spec
      I got this:
      kern.sched.topology_spec: <groups>
      <group level="1" cache-level="0">

      </group>
      </groups>

      Really I don't guess what can be happen or what I can be check to understand this issue.

        What does it show in the boot logs?

        What does top -HaSP show? Is it really only using one core?

        Which pfSense version?

              It certainly could be a BIOS setting.

              But try running: sysctl kern.smp
