      HI,

I used a Netgate 4100 BASE with 16Gb eMMC for two years.
Now, for various reasons, I have changed model to 6100.

I would have found a buyer for my old netgate 4100, but I would like to make sure that all data stored on the device and on the eMMC, logs, configurations, and bios/boot configuration are deleted before selling.

I tried a simple factory reset, but it doesn't seem to do a complete deletion. I can't find anything in the documentation.

      Can anyone help me?

      Thank you!

        Do a clean re-install:
        https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/solutions/netgate-4100/reinstall-pfsense.html

If you're really concerned you could also zero out the target from the installer:
