2 WAN connections same subnet

Hi,
is it possible to have 2 WAN connection with same GW and in same subnet?
ISP gives me 2 IP on 2 different eth ports, so pfsense is connected with WAN NICS

So you get a single WAN connection with 2 IPs in fact.Hence you have to use a single NIC on pfSense.
Assign one IP in the WAN interface settings and the second as virtual in Firewall > Virtual IPs, type IP alias. -
Hi,
“Problem” is that on ISP box on eth1 I get static IP (I need to put network settings manually in pfsense) and on the eth2 of the ISP box I get public IP via DHCP.
both IPS have same gw and are in the same subnet. -
@Charlie48 have you tried doing that - pretty sure the only way pfsense will let you put IPs that overlap is via dhcp, etc.

You can connect two NICs to the ISP box though, I think, but you can only state the gateway on one of them. This would not have any drawbacks, however.I expect, that the DHCP sets also the default gateway. Then just assign the static IP to the other NIC without stating a gateway.
