      hi all,

      so I have 3 dynamic public IPs and I'd like to take full advantage of them.
      with linux I'd simply create 3 dummy interfaces and bridge them together with the WAN interface and happily have 3 dynamic ips.
      Is there any way to do this for pfsense?

      thanks a lot in advance!

        search the forum, this has been discussed.
        what you would be doing is having a tri wan w/failover search for dual wan (just modify for the third), i believe its a wiki as well

          Googling for dual wan pfsense i found this:
          http://www.tomschaefer.org/web/wordpress/?p=538
          But I'm NOT looking for a dual wan setup since this would include actually connecting TWO PHYSICAL ethernet cables.

          All I'm trying to do is take advantage of all the public IPs I can get via DHCP.

          With Linux it is possible to achieve this using ONE PHYSICAL interface, so I was wondering whether this is possible with pfSense as well.

          Thanks in advance.

            so you have 3 modems or just 3 ip's?

            if its 3 modems you have to set up a tri wan config, if its 3 ips, pf can only take one ip for v 1.2, v 2 will do multiple ips i believe.

            looks as if you want pf to beable to get 3 ips with one interface, try v 2

              Just look at Firewall->Virtual IPs.
              Linux as its way pfSense has its way.

              Search before posting.
