      Hello,
I set up a pfsense system (1.2.3-RC3 built on Mon Oct 5 07:10:35 UTC 2009)
on a Supermicro X7SBI Board with 2 Intel GBit Onboard Nics and 1 PCIe Intel PRO/1000 MT Quad Port Server Adapter (EXPI9404PTLBLK).

After some uptime of the system (4-24hours) the 4 Ports on the additional Intel NIC stop working.
The Links go down, LEDs are off and on the Webinterface "Status->Interfaces" page the ports for the additional nic show high values for
      "In/out errors" and "Collisions".

If I restart the system, the links are up again.

Any suggestions how to solve the problem?

The Intel Nic ist on the list of supported hardware.

(Attached dmesg output of the system)

      Thanks
      Andreas

Could be a hardware problem. You can put the NIC in another machine, or test another NIC in your machine (you can also try other type of NIC's, to test the mainboard on errors). When you've got only one NIC, maybe your reseller or Supermicro/Intel can help you with this problem. Good luck!
