      Anyone noticing extremely high CPU usage since upgrading to PfSense Plus 24.11?

      Upgraded, been running for 1/2 hour and the CPU continues to run around 60C and the CPU Usage fluctuates between 17-60%. It's an i5-2400 and never has been this high before.

      I checked the System Activity and it keeps showing things related to unbound when it gets this high.

      Possible bug? Just wanted to check with others first.

        It may be due to the following which is expected:

        Potentially it's due to this known issue (though details are lacking):

          Yup check the load average from the command line without the gui open and see if that is significantly lower.
