    Netgate 6100 with 24.11 high CPU load / power consumption

      Since the upgrade from 24.03 to 24.11 I saw an increase of around 15-20W power consumption while idle. Checking the device I saw that die CPU load is at around 30-40% idle.

      Also in system logs there is a log entry but all entries are not visible:

        The logging is a known issue: https://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/15411

        It will correct itself or you can restart syslogd to correct it immediately.

        Increased CPU usage should only be when using he GUI. Try checking top -aSH at the CLI without the webgui open.
