CaN I setup PPOE on Modem instead of Pfsense?
-
I have a Draytek 130 Modem. It would be better long term, If I could setup ppoe on the modem instead of pfsense everytime. That way I don’t have configure pfsense every big reset. Can I still Apply ppoe if the modem is in Bridge mode?

Almost certainly not. The best you could do is some sort of DMZ mode.
But why would you need to? You can just recover the config if you need to reset/re-install pfSense. Including the PPPoE config.

Because at this time I don’t have A permenant LAN device. I use A tablet that, I have to connect A ethernet And LAN adapter That doesn’t work well. How do I put the Config file on the Installation If it FreeBsd? -
@stephenw10 I read the Documentation, There’s A FAT partition On the install
. Also any USB Fat32 with config.xml On bootup gets read and installed.

Yup, exactly just recover it during the install or at boot afterwards using the External Config Locator.
