      Hi,

I'm trying to do a green field deployment into an IPv6-only environment and failing. It seems the installer will only accept an IPv4 address for the WAN interface and so the installer cannot reach the Netgate servers.

Is there a workaround for this or is pfSense not the right option for deployment here? As this is a greenfield site there's no IPv4 yet and the firewall is the first thing being deployed, so no DHCP servers etc available yet.

      Thanks,

Hmm, that's a good question. Let me run some tests....

You can install using the legacy installer and upgrade if needed:
