Any reason the Netgate 4100/6100 1U Rack Mount Kit won't work for a SG-1100?

The 1100 has dimensions of 4.33” x 3.33”. The 6100 has dimensions of 10” x 7.88”. The hole in the rack mount kit will be way too big for the 1100. A shelf would work better and probably much cheaper.

The 1100 uses a completely different enclosure. There are no mounting holes etc.

Thanks folks. Yeah I know the 1100 is a lot smaller. I am not sure that the area around it (gap) would bother me, I just like the looks of the Netgate mounting device.

I have seen some 3D printed stuff too so maybe that's an option. Something like this:

The 4100/6100 bracket fixes to the device using specific mounting holes in the side. The 1100 doesn't have them so you'd need to do some work to it just to allow it to hold it. A shelf or something custom would be better IMO.
