SG-2100-MAX customized with an NVMe Drive by way of mPCIE adapter
-
I have researched and learned with the help of @stephenw10 that the 2100-MAX can run a NVMe M.2 drive over mPCIE adapter.
It will require mylar tape velcro and a careful placement of the drive to make sure it works good.
Supplies Needed:
- 10LB rated Velcro Tape
- Mylar Tape
- mPCIE to NVMe M.2 Adapter
- Intel Optane H10 (I like Optane because it has onboard memory)
- M.2 Radiator to protect from overheating if that was to occur.
----------------------> NVMe drive seen while booting <------------------------Side Note I labeled it as swapUSB for use with my fstab file I have already configured and cron rules to parse swap from dump locations. You can name it anything you want. with use of "glabel"
nda0 will show as your new NVMe drive this replaces the usb based da0 that you would normally see.
