New system upgrade is on the horizon with new VM's.

Old server is stand alone: has no NLB

New will have NLB. So I do not get issues with interfaces into the system and I am unsure if any traffic is coming in via IP (rather than hostname), can a typical NLB direct traffic that was targeted to an IP address, redirect it to the new vm's? I would guess so but good to clarify - specifically traffic coming in via IP. Thanks in advance!

A pre project query thus looking for ideas.

        Unclear what you're asking here.

You are setting up multiple pfSense VMs as HA?

You are setting up a load balancer behind pfSense and forwarding to it?

This is not pfsense specific, just a general NLB query.

          NLB > Unix vm's
