I never came across this issue but i have 2x 6100s. Using ix3 interface as the SYNC interface.
When the master syncs to the backup , the backup all of a sudden gets firewall rules from a different interfaces on its SYNC interface thereby breaking the sync process.

      What am i doing wrong?

      Firewall: NetGate,Palo Alto-VM,Juniper SRX
      Routing: Juniper, Arista, Cisco
      Switching: Juniper, Arista, Cisco
      Wireless: Unifi, Aruba IAP
      JNCIP,CCNP Enterprise

@michmoor Ok i know the problem. OPT interfaces are mismatched. I don't know how to align the OPT interfaces so the master and backup are in sync.
