WAN and Gateway Discrepency
-
I am trying to wrap my head around the issue of my updated WAN IP address and existing GW IP address discrepancies. Today Spectrum (WAN) refreshed the Dynamic IP address. I have a failover T-Mobile backup home internet (WAN1). I noticed the outage and rebooted the Spectrum modem. On my Negate 1100 pfSense Plus 23.09-RELEASE (arm64), I saw most traffic didnt come back over to WAN from WAN1. After reboot, I noticed the new WAN IP address of 72.185.104.x. It was previously 72.104.96.1.
I can't seem to have the WAN GW update to the now new IP Address. I am experiencing slower download speeds. The Spectrum agent on the phone confirmed 700 mb/s Down and with speedtest-cli, I see sub 250 md/s Down.
I've rebooted multiple times, refreshed states and tables, and Disable/Enable the GW and interfaces. I dont see a renew/release button.
WAN (wan) -> mvneta0.4090 -> v4/DHCP4: 72.185.104.x/19
LAN (lan) -> mvneta0.4091 -> v4: 192.168.70.1/24
WAN1 (opt1) -> mvneta0.4092 -> v4/DHCP4: 192.168.12.x/24
IOT (opt2) -> mvneta0.80 -> v4: 192.168.80.1/24
WG0 (opt3) -> tun_wg0 -> v4: 172.80.80.1/24How can I get the WAN GW to refresh as a dynamic GW?
