    Netgate 4200 freeze after upgrade to 24.11

      Hi, I have a Netgate 4200 with pfSense + version 24.03-RELEASE (amd64)
      On the main dashboard I read "Version 24.11 is available", so I click on the ugrade cloud icon, I confirm that I want upgrade to 24.11 and the upgrade starts.

      All the download and install process seems to complete successfully. At the end, the netgate 4200 reboots.

      But after reboot, the device never comes online. After 1 hour it's still not responding.
      The only way to recover the system is removing and reconnecting the power. After a power cycle, the Netgate 4200 comes alive, but with the old 24.03 version of pfSense+. It's not upgraded.
      I tried 2 times, one month ago and today.

      How can I upgrade ?

        TAC should be able to assist with this. At worst you can simply back up the configuration and restore it after reinstalling with the Netgate Installer.

          You can also try upgrading from the console to see all the output from the upgrade and where it's stopping.
